In the westernmost outpost of the archipelago no one lives any longer permanently. Here sea birds and seals have a sanctuary.

But on Storö there is an inn with good food, soft beds and friendly service. A perfect base camp for three days exploration of Sweden's most exotic paddle water.

We start our trail with a trip in Fjällbacka archipelago. From the outer islands we get a boat lift over the fjord to the inn. There we have our base for two days paddling among the archipelago's three hundred or so islands. That we can finish the days with a good dinner and some paddle stories crowned with cognac do not make the trip worse, right?
